We're in Vancouver! No, not the one of Olympic fun, but the one where we hang with my parents and run my mom ragged (while I get quite a bit more moments of peace than usual).

Today we went to the Oregon Zoo, which is way different from back in the day when I was a kid (we kept getting lost or confused about how to get places with the stroller) but its still familiar enough to give me flashes of school field trip memories throughout. We rode the train, which was my girls first train type ride ever I think! They really liked it! It was a shorter trip than I remember -- just around the zoo and back -- I guess in the summer they open up the long run that goes way up to the rose gardens which is SO much cooler (but probably not so toddler friendly). I remember going up there and getting popsicles to have on the way back, ah, summertime....

Later back at home the girls got another ride...in the tractor wagon! (Or is it a riding mower wagon?) They also got to watch Grandpa Richard take a chainsaw to a very large tree. Fun times!
Its not all fun and games, though -- we had two more puking incidents, totally out of the blue (Elsie and Emma). They seemed fine after it was over, of course, no other signs of sickness (and nothing since Friday now). OMG, please let this be over now! I think it is, but now I can't really trust my instincts...
More pics tomorrow! With all the awesome weather we've been outside and frequenting playgrounds a lot. Nice!
I haven't taken the kids to the zoo yet. But I bet when we do go it'll be a hit. I'm thinking we'll go to the Vancouver Aquarium after the Olympic craziness is over. (It's mental downtown here in that other Vancouver.)
