Chemicals and Toxins and Infertility, Oh My!
Just wanted to note that I really liked Jo's post today, about the connections between chemicals in our homes and environment and the increasing infertility issues plaguing so many of us today. This article about a recent Greenpeace report was interesting to me in particular.
Scary stuff! I think it is such an important issue that just does not get enough attention. With the infertility rates and hormone-related disorders soaring in the past few generations, it seems so critical to look into these connections. We have been trying to scale back (though not vigilantly) on the chemicals we expose ourselves to at our house for the last few years (well, at least I have, and Lonnie is coming around, too, I think...) but there is so much more to be done and so much that feels totally out of our control even so. But, better to be aware, and I have a feeling I will be be even more so now with a babe on the way.
Still here, no baby yet and another update later today, so stay tuned.
